White Collar's Matt Bomer Calls for Religious Tolerance

As the slogan goes, characters are welcome at USA Network. Now, the cable outlet is taking that sentiment one step further with its "Characters Unite" series of PSAs. In the campaign's latest video, White Collar dvd star Matt Bomer takes a stand against religious intolerance. "While we can disagree about the past and we can argue about the future, we're all here now, together," Bomer says.

Besides the new PSAs, USA Network has launched a "Characters Unite" website to encourage others to "stand against intolerance, prejudice, discrimination and hate, and to promote greater understanding and acceptance." USA will donate $1 to nonprofit partners, including the Anti-Defamation League and the Children's Defense Fund, for every individual pledge made until Dec. 24 box set.

Jennifer Jason Leigh has filed for divorce from her husband, director Noah Baumbach, after five years of marriage, People reports. The 48-year-old actress, who co-starred in Showtime's Weeds dvd last year, filed for divorce on Nov. 15 in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences. Leigh, whose movie credits include Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Last Exit to Brooklyn and Single White Female, is seeking spousal support and primary custody of their 7-month-old son, Rohmer, with visitation for Baumbach. Baumbach, 41, met Leigh in 2001 when she was starring in the Broadway play Proof. They married in September 2005. The pair collaborated twice during their marriage: Leigh starred in Baumbach's 2007 directorial effort, Margot at the Wedding, and they co-wrote the 2010 Ben Stiller film Greenberg, which Leigh also starred in.

After "Inferno" director Matthew Wilder announced he was moving forward with the Linda Lovelace biopic without Lindsay Lohan on Saturday, the troubled starlet has reportedly already been replaced by blond stunner Malin Akerman, according to People.

"Lindsay had scheduling issues due to legal obligations and is continuing to focus on getting better in rehabilitation in Palm Springs, and she really had to focus on that in our opinion and hers," the film's producer, Chris Hanley, told the mag. "For herself and her career in general it was really her decision to just focus on getting better psychologically."

Malin Akerman, 32, is best known for playing Vince Vaughn's on-screen wife in "Couples Retreat," and the smoldering Laurie Jupiter/Silk Spectre in 2009's sci-fi superhero film, "Watchmen dvd." "Malin was passionate to take this challenge of the role to task," Chris told the mag. "And we feel she has the talent to meet that challenge."

Wisconsin Man Shoots TV when Bristol Palin Dancing

A Wisconsin man has been arrested after he fired a gun at his TV when Bristol Palin performed on Dancing with the Stars dvd and then held police at bay in a 15-hour standoff. Due to a criminal complaint filed in Dane County Circuit Court, Janice Cowan told police that her husband, Steven Cowan, 67, became enraged when Palin started dancing on Monday's show. She said he screamed, "the politics," because he was upset that Palin, daughter of Sarah Palin, was still on the show since he believes she's not a good dancer.The complaint said that Cowan, who had been under stress because of a financial situation and was being treated for a mental health problem, later retrieved his shotgun and fired it at the television. After demanding for the rest of his pistols, Cowan reloaded the shotgun and pointed it at his wife, the complaint said. Janice Cowan left the house and drove away to call 911 to the complaint.

'Mad Men' biography to become a reality

US publishers Grove/Atlantic have used a concept from the AMC drama series Mad Men dvd as the basis for a new book.
The critically-acclaimed show's fourth season followed the character of Roger Sterling Jr, played by John Slattery, as he wrote an autobiography of his career in advertising and his thoughts on life.
The publishers have announced that they plan to convert the fictional title into a real edition ready for release at Christmas.
"Sterling has acquired quite a reputation among his colleagues for his quips, barbs and witticisms," Grove/Atlantic told The Guardian about their decision to write the character's book.
Sterling's Gold: Wit and Wisdom Of An Ad Man will also feature a preface from Mad Men box set creator Matt Weiner.

Curtis Harris will make a guest appearance in an future episode of Fringe BOX SET.

UGO reports that the child actor will play Christopher Broyles, the son of Phillip Broyles (Lance Reddick) in the instalment, titled 'The Abducted'.

Harris has previously featured on Grey's Anatomy DVD and played Zack in two episodes of FlashForward DVD.

Former Stargate Atlantis DVD actor David Nykl will also are available in the episode as Reverend Marcus. Nykl played Dr. Radek Zelenka on the sci-fi spinoff from 2004 to 2009 and recently appeared in an episode of Human Target DVD.

Plot Summary

Lady GaGa and ex boyfriend drop lawsuits

Lady GaGa and her music producer ex-boyfriend have decided to drop the lawsuits against each other.
The 'Bad Romance' singer retaliated with legal action days after Rob Fusari sued her for $30m back in March, claiming that he had not been properly compensated for significantly leading to her career, but court papers filed this week show that both lawsuits have now been dismissed.
Fusari's lawyer has yet to make a statement on the agreement and it has not been cleared up whether the former couple made a monetary deal.

Jimmy Fallon paid homage to Lost seasons 1-6, 24 dvd box set and Law & Order dvd at tonight's 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards.
The presenter decked out as three of pop's biggest stars and embarked on a musical tribute to the shows, all of which came to a close this year.
Starting with 24 on dvds, Fallon sat at a piano in the guise of Elton John and sang to the music of 'Candle In The Wind': "Goodbye 24 1-8 dvd set... Jack saved the day, he saved our lives... Never going to the men's room, how did he hold it in? I'd like to thank Jack, Chloe, CTU and the first black president."
The comedian then performed Boyz II Men's 'It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday', but altered the words to wish farewell to Law & Order dvd box set.
Finally, Fallon recognised Lost 1-6 dvd set by appearing as Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong. Strumming along to the band's 'Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)', he sang: "Another show is gone."

The Office dvd producer has dissmissed off rumours that the show has already hired a new actor to change Steve Carell. Danny McBride and Rhys Darby were previously reported to be under consideration for the role of the new office dvd boss, while one source suggested that a former star of Arrested Development dvd sets had already been cast. However, Silverman told Fancast that the sitcom's creative team are still in the early stages of planning Carell's exit. He insisted that head writer Greg Daniels and his staff are carefully considering the show's future before deciding on a new lead actor. The Office Season 7 returns for a new season on September 23 on NBC.

Appears Skeet Ulrich won't be the only former Jericho star fighting crime in NCIS: Los Angeles dvd this season: Alicia Coppola has signed on to guest-star on a NCIS: Los Angeles Season 2 episode.
Coppola will act FBI agent Amy Rand, an expert on kidnapping cases. Described as athletic, determined and authoritative, she blends with the NCIS dvd 1-7 agents to find a victim to prevent a killing spree.
Besides her role as IRS agent Mimi Clark on Jericho, Coppola, 42, starred on the NBC soap opera Another World for three years in the early '90s. Winers at the Creative Arts Emmys

Neil Patrick Harris went from Emmy zero to hero at the 2010 Creative Art Emmy Awards Saturday.

The 37-year-old actor won best guest actor in a comedy series for Glee on dvds and he also received hardware for hosting the 63rd Annual Tony Awards, which won outstanding special program. Harris also has a shot at a third Emmy this year: He is nominated for best supporting actor in a comedy series for his work on How I Met Your Mother seasons dvd.

Five was the magic number for Betty White and John Lithgow, as both actors won their fifth Emmy. White, 88, was named best guest actress in a comedy series for hosting Saturday Night Live. Lithgow won best guest actor in a drama for his performance on Dexter dvd 1-4.

Lithgow, 64, accidentally thanked HBO, rather than Dexter dvd set 's network.

HBO got plenty of other shout-outs, as the cable channel took home 17 awards, seven of which were for the WWII miniseries, The Pacific complete series.

Freshman series Glee season 1, Modern Family dvd dominate Emmy nominations

Ann-Margret won her first Emmy for best guest actress in a drama series for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit dvd. Survivor dvd collection host Jeff Probst won for best host of a reality competition program, while freshman series Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution won outstanding reality program.

Other notable winners included Anne Hathaway, who snagged the award for her voice-over performance on The Simpsons 1-21 seasons, and "Old Spice guy" Isaiah Mustafa, who won for best commercial. Fantasia Barrino Released from the Hospital

After having a harrowing few days, Fantasia Barrino is on the mend C and away from hospital.

The American Idol season 3 champ was hospitalized in Charlotte, N.C., Monday for an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid, but she was released from the hospital late Wednesday, says her manager Brian Dickens.

The medical scare came just after Barrino, 26, was named in a court filing alleging that she was having an affair with a married man. The singer denied she was in charge for splitting up the marriage of Paula and Cook. However, on Tuesday admitted having dated Cook "off and on for 11 months."

Barrino says she believed Cook and his wife were separated, and is now "heartbroken and is sorry for any pain she could have caused."

Heroes dvd was originally cancelled in May. Kring confirmed that he was meeting with NBC to discuss bringing the Heroes season 6 back.
Kring hinted that if the planned television revival did not come to fruition, the show could return in another medium seasons 1-6 box set.

His sister Stephanie Pratt and her motocross beau Josh Hansen "went their separate ways," her rep confirms.
There are no further details about the split, but it seems that the relationship did not end on amicable terms.

In my opinion, this is the final season of Private Practice, they should come to this famy no matter what happened befor. They have the duty to give this series a full finished. NBC Comments on Carell's Office Departure; Announces 30 Rock Live Episode

NBC executives Jeff Gaspin and Angela Bromstad spoke to the press today at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today, and made several announcements, while also speaking about the status of their returning series.
Regarding Steve Carell leaving The Office, Bromstad noted, "It's just publically been known that Steve is leaving, but we and the producers have been preparing for it for some time. The Cape is more of a procedural. This character doesn't have superpowers. He's trained in a way that he's able to manipluate things."
Having put it on hold last season, NBC will go forward with a pilot for a US remake of Prime Suspect, with Peter Berg and Sarah Aubrey's production company Film 44 (Friday Night Lights) behind it. Berg and Aubrey will be executive producers on the show, which will be written by Alex Cunningham (Desperate Housewives).
