| Plot Summary |
| The Underbelly dvd series consists of two 13-part Australian television crime-drama mini-series' originally broadcast on Nine Network. The two series are based on true events; the Melbourne gangland killings and the Griffith drug trade. The first series is based on the book Leadbelly: Inside Australia's Underworld, by The Age journalists John Silvester and Andrew Rule. A third series has began production and is scheduled to air in early 2010. |
