One Tree Hill Season 8 to focus on regulars

The executive producer of One Tree Hill dvd Mark Schwahn has claimed that the new one tree hill season 8 focuses on the series regulars.
Mark Schwahn told Give Me My Remote that he wants to avoid introducing too many new characters.
"We've had a lot of wonderful recurring on One Tree Hill dvds, but I think that our core group is where we will focus our attentions in this next season," he said.
However, Schwahn explained that he still plans to have some occasional guest stars.
